Gorgeous photos, @borniet! The horse shots make me a little nostalgic, as I grew up with horses. πππβ¨π€

You're very welcome, absolutely! Yes, my mother was an ardent animal lover, so I grew up around all manner of critters. My mom and dad bred thoroughbred race horses. I grew up knowing how to handle horses, and to ride, but I gotta say that I'm glad I was a durable kid, because I experienced every crazy thing that you could with a horse, like getting bitten, run over, thrown off, stepped on, and kicked...lol! π π π β¨ π€

Lol!!! I can only imagine all the fun that you mustβve had back in those days! Itβs an ideal playground for a kid to grow up, learning both about the beauty and the dangers of life and natureβ¦
Haha...you're very right about that! I'm really grateful for how I grew up, getting dirty, running around barefooted in the forests and fields around me, doing my nature-loving kid thing! Yes, it really is, that's true! I grew up knowing how to do all sorts of useful things! πππβ¨π€
!INDEED, you learn both about the useful things and the dangers. Which, I believe, both, is an issue at this moment with children in many of our "civilized" countries. The most dangerous thing they tend to experience is having a cramp in their thumb from texting and scrolling...

That's a really good point that you make about the importance of teaching children how to handing potentially dangerous situations, because you're right, most people are utterly useless when they encounter dangerous circumstances, since they never learned how to deal with it as a child! πππβ¨π€

If you've never learned how to fight or flee, your only response is to freeze... And well... yeah !INDEED :-)
It is one the reasons why playing in general is so important for children. Which is a pity now, since they get so little of it... And it shows when they grow up into adulthood...

Yep, indeed, you got tit! It's so incredibly important to allow children to surmount their own challenges (within reason), because they increase their capability in various situations! Yes, play is also hugely important, and for so many reasons! It's important for adults, too! Children that grew up, not playing outside in nature, but staring at screens...yeah, that's gonna leave a mark. πππβ¨π€
