Here's another throwback to those late summer days of 2020, when the sun seemed to shine just a little bit brighter, and the world felt a little quieter. In the midst of all the chaos and uncertainty, we still managed to find beauty in the everyday—whether it was a golden sunset filtering through the trees, kids playing by the water, or horses grazing peacefully in a sunlit field.
Looking back, it’s clear that those moments of calm and connection were what got us through. We spent our days outside, not because we had to, but because it was the only place that felt like the world we knew. Friends met up under the open sky, laughter echoed across empty fields, and every sunset felt like a small victory—another day gone by, another reason to be grateful.
These photos capture a time when life slowed down and the little things became the big things. The sun setting over the horizon, kids trying not to fall in the mud, and horses wandering through a field as the day faded away—these are the moments that remind us that even in the hardest times, there’s still beauty to be found if we just take the time to look.
So here’s to the sunsets, the friends, and the fields that brought us peace when we needed it most. Let’s never forget the simple joys that carried us through.
