I know some people are not into it, but I quite like Strictly Come Dancing (UK version). It's just a feel-good show with with celebs trying something new. It's not even about who is the best dancer really. It's something I can watch with my other half. I approved of the winner.
I used to watch it every year and really enjoyed it but I son't bother anymore. Lost interest somewhere along the line. 🤷♀
As I don't follow it anymore it was only recently that I saw that there had been some scandals. Bullying? Not sure what it was as I only saw a few headlines. Hopefully it's been dealt with now.
I don't know the details, but the pros have to be pretty driven and competitive. Maybe they pushed their celebs further than they were comfortable with. The training seems pretty tough.

今週もおなじみお弁当のおかずを作りました。だいたい定番メニューなのですが、なんとはなしにサボりたいなぁとメインは冷食にしました。
畑から野菜がやって来まして、不格好ですが味はいいにんじんグラッセと冬場はよく作る粕汁風雑煮を。
粕汁風は薄切りにした材料を水と共に鍋に入れて中火にかけ、沸いて灰汁が出たら取って、しょうがのすりおろしを好きなだけ。野菜が煮えたら顆粒出汁入れて、味噌を少なめ、酒粕をお好きなだけ入れて溶いて馴染んだら出来上がり。お腹の中から温まるよ。

We have already completed the first two weeks of this great holozing calendar and we are adding more and more Holo Dust.
The storm took down a few trees. With time, this tree will become a part of the forest soil and give sustenance to new life. Somebody better cut it down though because it looks precarious hanging over the trail.
If there weren't a trail, it would actually be right there and the cycle would be renewed, but having a path where people pass by means the tree is in that state of danger.
You're right. There's a lot foot traffic in this trail, so they'll likely cut up the tree and throw the pieces back into the forest.
When you receive messages like this on web2. Like okay cool but what does this info do for me? Get active on chain, socialize, connect with others, etc. No free lunches/rewards just for showing up again and creating content no one's gonna read unless you put in the work.
You just said it all. The cycle for these people seems to always be the same.
Meanwhile, those of us who have been putting in work will keep putting in work. In a way, I preferred the two bear markets I have experienced on Hive... less of the expectation of ease, more quality because people wanted to create quality in community for that purpose.

It's generally good, but I didn't get much... I was expecting a Gold Foil card, for example, but it only came with normal, common and rare cards and some Merits.
