We left Sydney the same way we arrived by train. We had left our car in an upper north shore suburb to try and save a few dollars on tolls and parking. It also felt a bit easier that having to tackle the holiday season inner city traffic.
The Sydney Harbour and Opera house, even from the train on the big bridge, was also a nice view hard to capture on my phone, but still, all the water views are nice.
It was slow going once back in our car and on th road, lots of Sydney were gearing up for new years eve and the spectacular harbour fire works and lots of people were heading out of town.
Things had finally quietened down afin by the time we were back in country New South Wales heading north again.
Activity wise, I still did my morning run and a fair bit of tourist walking between all the travelling l.
