At home I never use cups. I have a plastic thermos that I carry everywhere.
That's interesting! I have a lovely metal Stanley thermos that's insulated for hot or cold, but I hate the way my coffee tastes when I drink it directly from it. I only drink black coffee, and the metal alters the taste. Maybe I should get a plastic thermos and see if I prefer it.

My husband doesn't notice a difference in taste, so it would be great if you could test it with a metal thermos somehow, before investing in one of your own.
