Hey Actifitters,
The first steps yesterday happened early in the morning, even before bed. Before finally going to sleep, I noticed the sun already shining.
I liked the contrast between the bright sun and the frost on the lawn and leaves. That was enough for me to go outside and check it out.
Just a few more minutes in the backyard and it was time for bed, when most people around here are already awake!
Later in the afternoon, the main objective of the day was to get up on the roof and fix one of the vent pipe boots. It was kind of urgent, because it needed to be done before some contractors add insulation in the attic on Friday. It took some imagination but we managed to fix the leak, at least temporarily until I might just replace that boot maybe next year. Once we were done, we enjoyed the view from up there.
Too bad this big pine tree is on the way.
There was just enough time before sunset for a walk with Kaia.
I know I'm not supposed to do that yet, but it was pretty safe and I gave Kaia a few minutes of off-leash time. Well, the leash was still on her, but I wasn't holding it. Good enough for now.
Then I couldn't resist, we went towards the golf course again, to catch the sunset of course.
Like I said last time, with less leaves on the trees, it's possible to find angles with more visibility.
And of course at the far end of the golf course, it's always a great view, anytime of the year.
And as I often say, a walk without a deer isn't a real walk, so here's one!
Just a mellow night to end the day and the weekend, and that was it. As always, thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow.
