It's a lot like Esslingen, there are very old buildings there. I love these kinds of things... You think the people who built them never, ever thought that people in this time would still be walking around them!

Well, I have gotten pretty sick.. It is thanks to the 600lber... He got sick, I asked him if he needs a doctor, he said no he is fine (liar)... So now everyone here is sick.. I am sure it's not COVID, but beyond that no clue really. Today I started to feel a little better, so we will see...
Oh, (I am sure) he didn't want to go to the doctors because he did not pay for his insurance.. 🙄🤯😲

Yes, like there. I’m sure they never would have thought we would walk around their buildings and still would live in them. It’s pretty cool…

O no… soooooo sorry to hear @lesmann 😞 there is a bad flue going around everywhere.
Hope you recover soon my friend and don’t feel worse. Sending healing thoughts to you and positive energy that it all will be fine soon.

I can imagine him not having proper healthcare now. Crazy… and now everybody is sick.

I am getting ready for our first visitors, hubbies mom and husband. They will stay a couple of weeks, and I am not ready unpacking yet or even settled in. Still putting up furniture. They arrive tomorrow evening.
It will be fine, they know… 😁 so if I go quite even more… I’m out and about showing them around 😎

I am back, still a little sick 🤧 but managing!👍🏼😁👍🏼
I started to reply yesterday, and I realized I was too "fuzzy headed" to continue...😵‍💫 So I am sorry for the "late reply"! I am glad I have most of this in a txt app I can cut and paste!
And... Yes it is a Very Amazing thing, and for most Americans - "sobering", if they can be sobered up..??? You walk on an old hallway, across a well worn stone and think.. It's 2023, the person who set that stone had no thought about the world you live in, and still it's there! Like a "time capsule"! Amazing Stuff!
(*I "used" to explore caves in Germany, mostly looking for WW2 things people stashed. Well, I have been about 450 meters inside a cave there.. Amazing the stuff you find in these!)!

Yeah, it 😞 sucks... And I am in "Utter Amazement"! It is 100% obvious he is not going to work again. The child has been (once again) reunited with his mom (thank goodness!) and he is just laying around, spreading germs - and not caring!
So he will not have any health insurance, since he lost his job from "manipulating the time clock" he gets no unemployment money either... And since (if you want to call it that...) his "disability" is being fat...
If you find a Dr. that will certify that (they don't like to certify "self inflicted wounds") here is the truth...
Morbid Obesity gets 60%...
He really has not earned anything... 60% of nothing?
And if you get caught working, your done and they want what they gave you back! 😲

Wow you did go into caves. Yep, read about them and I can imagine still treasures are found that way.

OMG I just have no words about that. He is throwing away his life plus health. One plus… the kid is back with the mother 😎 that’s good. Such a young age…
Oh if we could be that young again hahaha, or maybe not… nope all fine. Just the way we are.

Yep, they have and settled into the guest room. Did finish that part.
Still not fully organised and unpacked. Let’s say my artstudio is packed and full of boxes… other things are again more important. They do understand and will help fix a few things that needs to be doing. Like putting new plugs on some appliances. I can do that… but why not let them help, they want too.
Little jobs like that.
