For a few days now on Instagram, I see this watermelon juice being made and it looked amazing and I had to try it. So, I got me some watermelon, cut a slice of it and put it in the freezer overnight so it could get rock solid. And this is how I made it.
Ingredients:
Frozen Watermelon - 1 Cup
Lime - 1
Mint leaves - 2 - 3 leaves
Soda - 1 can
Method:
In a tall glass, add a few mint leaves, cut one lime into wedges and add that to the glass. Give it a good muddle. Since I do not have a muddle, I used a pestle and it worked just as good.
Add one cup of shaved watermelon into the glass. Add soda. Give it a stir and there you have it. One of the best summer drinks for the summer.
Time to Make some Bread and Egg
Ingredients:
Bread - 1 slice
Garlic butter (Because this what I want to use up)
Egg - 1
Pepper - A few sprinkles
Method:
Add Butter to the slice of bread.
Use a cookie cutter and cut out a circle in the center of the bread.
Heat a pan. Now place the slice of crust portion of the bread on the pan. Crack open an egg into the center.
when it is almost done, cover the egg with the cutout portion of the bread.
Give it a flip and its ready to it.
If there is one thing I will do differently next time, I will not cook the egg as much as I did this time.
And what goes well with my breakfast, is this coffee in a tea cup. Because? Why Not?

I cook every day. Well, almost every day. And there are days where I cook multiple recipes. Having said that, I am not an authentic or professional chef. Many of my recipes are experiments as I try to adapt and use the ingredients I already have.
My mantra is you should cook food just the way you like it. I don’t mean any disrespect to traditional methods of cooking or any cultures where the cuisine originates from. But I merely try to cook it with what I have and what is available to me and sometimes, I add ingredients that I want to use up.
