We saw quite a variety of places and even some exciting activities during 2023.
I thought it might be an idea to share some of our memories in this post.
Tala Collection Game Reserve
We started 2023 on quite an exciting note at the Tala Game Reserve. It is just over an hour's drive, west of Durban, South Africa.
We were fortunate to get up close to some beautiful animals.
Umhlanga
We visited Umhlanga frequently during 2023 and I'm sure you will recognize the Whalebone Pier...
...and the Umhlanga Lighthouse.
In Umhlanga, we also have a wooden walkway...

... to the Forest Cafe where we love having some early morning coffee.
Gillits Waterfall.
In May, we went on a hike, visiting the Gillits Waterfall.
I was able to get in behind the waterfall as well, to get some shots from behind the waterfall.
Rocky Bay
Rocky Bay was another beautiful beach we visited.
Some nice detail to capture on the beach too...
Sports Stadiums.
We've had various trips down to Kings Park Stadium where we watched various rugby matches.

Conclusion.
We had a lot of fun visiting various places. Many of these places were filled with excitement, while others were filled with tranquility and peace.
But all in all, it was a good year and I had an amazing time taking photos.
