Happy Chooseday π It's another day when I choose not only to be happy but also to be calm. π
You see, in my work, December is a busy time. Taking a leave of absence for whatever reason is not allowed. That was when I worked in legitimate companies. Not so in my current work. Unfortunately for me (who's always present) I had to deal with a busy work day. I swear not a month would pass when my colleague would not take time off for whatever reason. Too bad for me she's related to the owners. Oh well! It is what it is. Yeah I was swamped at work today. The good news is I survived the day. π Had to remind myself : keep calm and carry on.
Seriously, I do wonder if there's more to life than work. π I can't complain though. Work pays the bills. π I really don't mind the work as I do not see myself being idle. It didn't happen when I had more mobility. Now I need to outsource some tasks that I have no energy to do anymore. I do need the extra so I could afford to hire helpers. π In the past, I said I do not see myself retiring. I'd love to be able to work (or at least keep earning well) for as long as I can. Now, I don't know. π Wouldn't it be great if you work because you want to and not because you have to? I do wish to get to the former -- work when I want. π
Alas, I don't know if I'm making sense at all. I think it's the tiredness talking. π I should cut this short and take my rest. Well, I watched a very interesting Poirot episode tonight. Glad I found an episode I haven't watched before -- Dead Man's Folly. It's one of the really good episodes. π For dinner, I decided to cook boiled eggs in adobo sauce. Ahh it's pretty good so I'm happy to treat myself to some comfort food in order to uplift my tired spirit. π€£
Countdown continues on -- 21 days to the end of 2024. Oh boy, the year is ending. I'd like to look back and remember the best moments. I'll work on this mind exercise. I will need to overcome the moments that brought me the greatest stress too. π I do not know what 2025 will bring, but I pray it will be more triumphs and victories for me. πβ€οΈπ‘
I actively work on these affiliate sites daily. I'll reach $2 on LL tomorrow. I'm quite glad to be consistent on working on these sites.
It's a wrap today. Tomorrow is another day so I let go of worries and keep them away. I'll simply face them tomorrow. Oh, and I have set another appointment with the vet for another home visit. Updates tomorrow. Enjoy a fantastic week! Nighty night from Manila. Ta-tah! π
