A lot is going on in my head these days after my departure from work. A lot of people I trusted promised me things, and then I found out that 90% of it wasn't even true. If I were younger, someone might have gotten a slap or a punch in the face, but I'm too old for that now. I'm not even angry anymore—just disappointed. I put my love and trust in these people, but in return, I got nothing. No quality, no respect, no fire to improve themselves.
When you tell them the truth, they get defensive, like little children—even children react better than them. So what do I do to handle all this pain and disappointment? I just walk away. Your access to me is denied. You will never hear my thoughts again because you're not at this level of thinking or intelligence. Some of you might be better than me in some ways, and some in every way. But one thing I notice is that none of these people I trusted want to improve themselves. They'd rather stay at home doing nothing, wasting their time and everyone's money, just so they can stay at home and waste even more time.
They don’t understand how limited time is. If you’re reading this, Hive Users, look around. This is an amazing place to be because every single person here on Hive is trying to better themselves and join healthy competitions among us. Everyone wants to improve. This is one of the many reasons why I love Hive. This is where creativity is born, where better versions—your best versions—are born. I know some of you will say, "But Hive is not perfect." Tell me, what is perfect in this world? Nothing. Only our mothers and fathers are perfect. Other than that, not much. If you believe in God, yes, He is the first and only one who is perfect, followed by your parents.
To those who don’t have parents, I can’t speak for something I don’t have experience with. I do wish someone loves you like my parents, or like everyone’s parents did for them. I hope you can experience that, as I did.
So back to the people you love and trust.
What I wish is to be heartbroken again because all these lies from the people I trust are not enough. I need more because the more they hurt me inside, the more fuel I get, and the more creativity flows in my head. So, do it more. Disappoint me more. Make me mad if you can—I wish you could. It took a lot of people to disappoint me to write this post. It took a year to make me write this. It takes one whole year and hundreds of people to make me disappointed enough to write this, so it’s not enough. Hurt me more. Disappoint me further, so I have more fuel to burn. Tell me I’m not enough.
Tell me I will lose. Tell me I will fail. Because all your negativity—I will force it into positivity. Even now, some of my old friends are trying to contact me because, when they knew me, I had nothing. They betrayed me even when I had nothing. Now I have a little—I’m a little better than I was three years ago—and every single one of them is crawling back. But no. Everyone is blocked. No way I’m letting you in. Just tell everyone I failed so I can continue to grow further without you.
I’m surrounded by winners now, even though I win the least. But surrounding myself with them will make me better. All of them are my teachers, mentors, and so on, because they want me to grow. They’re forcing me to grow. There are no other options—either you grow or get out of that circle. This is our time. The world is not a nice place like it used to be. One job used to provide you with a house, a wife with kids, and a vehicle to bring your family out with. It used to be that easy. Now, there is no easy.
Every day, we go to war. You have to speak better, act better, and not show much emotion. Don’t be weak because they will use it against you. It’s tiring, to be honest, but there are no other options. Why am I doing all this? Well, when you have the power to change things, you use that power to create a safe place for people to explore their potential.
For now, this place is limited and not exposed to everyone, so it’s up to us to create that safe place for good people. It’s up to us. Yeah, it sounds like a lot of work, but if we don’t do it, who else will? Let’s take this pain. Let’s sacrifice our time and energy to create a better world so the future generation can be themselves rather than be somebody they’re not. Let’s not be the same, because there is no such thing as everyone being the same.
