Weekly Update: Week 6 - Steady Progress Amid Challenges
Hello Hive friends and Saturday Savers!
Another week, another update! This week, I saw some improvement in Hive Power (HP) progress, but it's still not quite where it needs to be to hit my ambitious goals for 2025. Here's a quick breakdown of my progress and activities over the past week.
🚀 Weekly Progress
Hive Power (HP):
- Last Week: 8213 HP
- This Week: 8313 HP
- Increase: +100 HP
- Target Weekly Increase: +145 HP
- Performance: Still short of the goal by -45 HP, though better than previous weeks. I’ll aim for higher growth next week!
HBD Savings:
- Last Week: 1332 HBD
- This Week: 1332 HBD
- No change this week, but I’m expecting a step forward with the interest payout next week.
📈 Second-Layer Token Growth
- EDSI: 28 (+1)
- Growth continues thanks to increasing EDS-D investments.
- BBHO: 3157 (+18)
- Steady progress here, setting the stage for the next BPUD.
- BXT: 192 (unchanged)
- No major updates here yet.
- LEO: 212 (+2)
- Small, but steady progress. I’m considering participating in Leo Power Up Days for faster growth.
🛠️ Updates and Activities
Fiat Injection and Timing the Market:
- I added a small amount of fiat money to buy Hive last week but, unfortunately, did so just before the market dip. Should I buy more now to take advantage of the dip? Decisions, decisions...
Delegations Cleanup:
- After consulting a new tool I’m developing, I restructured some of my delegations, but a bit too enthousiatically. As a result, 6250 HP of my total 8300 HP is now delegated—a bit too much, I think. I’ll rebalance this moving forward.
Diesel Pools:
- Continued my investments into pools, which may explain why progress isn’t as visible in the stats. In the long term, these strategies will compound nicely!
Bot Improvements:
- I’ve been tweaking the bots further. They now include a summary of daily tips, powered up with 100% for extra impact. The bots are running better, but I'm always looking for ways to optimize them further.
📝 Plans for Next Week
Catch Up on HP Progress:
- I’ll aim to close the gap between my actual and target HP growth by focusing on posting consistently and reallocating resources.
Increase Layer-2 Investments:
- Continue growing BBHO, EDS-D, and LEO, while exploring strategies for BXT.
Maximize Pool Contributions:
- I’ll fine-tune my pool investments and focus on high-return opportunities.
🏁 Final Thoughts
This week showed some improvement, but there’s still a long way to go to reach my 2025 goals. I’m learning from these adjustments and plan to finish February strong. Thank you for following along, and here’s to a more productive week ahead!
