Hey folks
Today's new Anime series I checked out was Remake Our Life or Bokutachi no Remake.
I'm only a few episodes in and so far it seems like it is going to be an interesting one with potential. Of course time will tell on that one.
The story starts with 28 year old Kyouya Hashiba whose life isn't going too well at the moment. He decided to leave his office job with the choice to pursue a career within the video game industry. He starts am internship at a very popular game studio, which sadly ends rather quickly due to funding cuts. Plunging his life into the life of an unemployed 28 year old. Now unemployed, he can't afford to live on his own anymore, he buys a late night bus ticket to go back to his parents house and move in with them for the time being.
Kyouya holds his jealousy of what is known as the 'Platinum Generation', a group of similar aged creators who had masses of success in their respected fields. This has made him regret his choice of Universities, going down the traditional route instead of his first choice which was an art college.
Waking up one day after acknowledging that there is no second chances in life, Kyouya finds he has been given this second chance in life. Finding that he is 10 years in the past, this is his chance to change his life and go for the choices that he wishes he had taken!
Instead of choosing the business school like he originally chose, Kyouya decides that he will pursue his passion and goes to Art school.
He chooses Oonaka University of Art, where he meets his old boss, Eiko Kawasegawa. Eiko is his old boss at the studio where he lost his job!
Along with meeting Eiko, he also manages to meet some of the 'Future Platinum Generation' that he holds so much jealousy towards. Will this be Kyouya's chance to change his future life?

The first episode hit me straight up with a 40 odd minute episode which took me by surprise. I am used to sub 25 minute episodes so it seemed odd that it kept going and I missed my time for bed!
This series has been adapted from the light novel of the same name Bokutachi no Remake.
3 episodes in and I can see that there are some flaws here and there, but overall it seems like it is going to be a decent series.
The music score is pretty good, some really great pieces throughout so far and some lovely piano pieces at just the right time. 18 odd minutes into the 3rd episode is a lovely piece of piano music that fits the scene so well I actually had a tear in my eyes!
The opening theme is really upbeat and brings a feeling of some great things to come. After the initial burst of excitement it goes into a smoother but still upbeat song. Love it!
The ending theme is another really good one, fits really well and the video for it is really good. Part of me feels that it may be a bit too upbeat at first, as unlike the opening theme, I feel the ending theme needs to be a little less bouncing just to match the style of how the episodes have ended so far. Of course as I go further into the series this opinion may change.
The art style is very nice, nothing too flashy but it is a very fitting style for the series so far. The angles are great and nothing too weird has happened so far.
I am looking forward to finishing this series and to see how it progresses.
