Hey all and thanks for stopping by
Tonight I decided to try to find some different places to check out silver and try to find some deals.
So off I went to good ol eBay to have a little look at what was on offer.

This find was one of the first I came across which is listed as .925 sterling silver. Listed at 32 grams total weight, doesn't seem like a lot but it's early days on the listing. Sat at 6 days and starting price of £0.99.
With the prices things were listed and selling at, I thought it would be wise to find somewhere that buys sterling silver at a scrap price level.
I came across BullionByPost who buy said scrap sterling silver. Their prices are on a range of different weights, more weight more value.
Weight (g) Per gram
5kg+ £0.55
1kg to 5kg £0.54
500g to 1kg £0.50
0 to 500g £0.44
After looking for a few hours on ebay I came to the conclusion that it would be utterly mental to even consider buying things on ebay at these prices.
Also after discussing this with a friend, I found that sterling silver fakes are rife to hell. I am getting better with silver bullion as I now have more tools and a bit better skills at noticing fakes.
I'll keep an eye out on any cheap bundles I can find at a later date and think it might be a new venture I try. Will it be successful?
Probably not, but it will be a good learning lesson but time will tell how I get on.
See you all around soon and thanks for stopping by
