Hello everyone, welcome to my blog as I make my entry to this week's social media challenge. This week's challenge is going to be based on the new reward shop.
If you play the splinterlands game, you know about the new reward shop that has replaced the daily chests and season chests. To be honest, I do miss the thrill earning the chests gave but the new reward shop is okay so far and with the new additions, it will only get better.
I have bought a few things from the shop already and so I want to talk more about the shop. First of all, click on shop at the left corner of the game screen.
The next is to click on rewards which is the third option among the options that are displayed.
The Gwen's Glint Shop is opened after that and you can explore to choose what you want to buy.
At the time of writing, the reward shop is divided into 4 sections. We have the rarity draws, random draws, exclusives and resources.
Rarity Draws.
In the rarity draws, there are four options you can choose from which are, common, rare, epic and legendary draws. The costs of each of these 4 draws vary with legendary costing the most and going for 25000 Glint per legendary draw. The common draw costs the least which goes for 100 Glint per draw, followed by the rare draw which goes for 500 Glint per draw and then epic draw costing the third highest in the rarity draw going for 5000 Glint per draw.
Random Draws
In the random draws, there are five options you can choose from which are, initiate, adept, veteran, elite and master draws. The costs of each of these 5 draws vary with master draw costing the highest and going for 5000 Glint per legendary draw. The initiate draw costs the least which goes for 150 Glint per draw, followed by the adept draw which goes for 400 Glint per draw and veteran draw which goes for 1000 Glint. The elite draw costs 2500 Glint per draw.
Exclusives
In the exclusives, there are three options you can choose from which are, The Proven, The Veteran and The Veteran. These exclusives are very costly ranging from 1 million to 5 million Glint. The Proven is the cheapest here which costs 1 million Glint while the Veteran costs 2.5 million and the Renowned costs 5 million Glint.
Resources
In resources, there are four options to choose from. You can choose to buy Merits, Energy, Legendary and Alchemy potions. You can get 200 merits for 200 Glints, 400 merits for 400 Glint and so on. Clicking on the remaining 3; energy, legendary or alchemy potions take you to their respective shops.
At the time of writing, I had a balance of 11789 Glint and so decided to buy something from the reward shop. I decided to buy 1000 Merits from the resources section to add to my 1000+ merits so I could spend it in the guild shop.
