From my point of view, all photographs are like painting canvases, but with the difference that you can instantly capture those key moments, unlike painting which is a longer and more tedious process, and which obviously requires much more detail and attention. But when I say as a canvas, it is partly because it requires the skill to harmonise and compose the images. Therefore through photography you can find that harmony that captivates or attracts you.
Having said all this, you can visualise the images that I have composed for today, which range from the beauty of a portrait of one of my bars, to capturing images in the street or with urban circumstances, chaos and all the energy that can also be perceived when I go out to take these photographs.
Although everything goes to the visual, to the aesthetics of that scene or what can be seen as interesting, that's what this exhibition of photographs is about, which should not be subject to a meaning but to show what I can see in those small moments.
All the photographs are my own.
