Today I have the pleasure of showing this series of photos of my cat Blackie, my first black cat in my life, since I always wanted one since I was little and luckily when my cat Kira got pregnant, Blackie came out among the litter, although the strange thing is that Kira is white with stripes and her father, Dio, is tabby, but well, that's how the genetics of cats are, they can come out in any way regardless of the appearance of the parents.
The point is that for this photo shoot I wanted to do them in black and white for the simple fact of highlighting the contrast of the cat that is black with its surroundings or background that is white, without a doubt an idea of composition is more noticeable in this case, however I must say that Blackie for this occasion is very restless despite the fact that he is normally very calm, it is like he knew that I was taking photos of him and that bothers him, but somehow I took some portraits.
On the other hand, for this session I had to use the camera flash, although I don't usually use it, but on this occasion it was very necessary because in the parts where Blackie was the light was very low, so I didn't even want to do it with a manual setting that would adjust it, so I decided to use the internal camera flash. Anyway, with the flash the lighting was more uniform because of the cat's color, but I tried not to let it reflect more in the eyes, which can normally come out with flashes.
All the photographs are my own.
