We went out to dinner this evening since I don't have to work tomorrow. I have two doctor appointments scheduled. The first appointment is in the morning and the second is a prolia injection (for the treatment of osteoporosis) in early afternoon. I'm free for the remainder of the afternoon. I may spend some time wrapping gifts.
We ate at the Firehouse in town. We requested a booth because I prefer being an observer of people as opposed to being observed by people.
I ordered a burger and onion rings. Jeff ordered fried zucchini straws. These were very tasty. Jeff wolfed down a salmon salad. He's working on losing weight because he carries visceral fat around the abdomen. It is important to manage his health as a pilot to keep his license. Jeff is in the process of obtaining his commercial pilot license. He passed his written test last week. The next step is to obtain his practical test. His goal is to become a flight instructor at the local airport.
The weather prepared for Christmas with a dump of around 6-7 inches of snow. We don't decorate because of tight quarters, but I almost wish I had a little tree for the little ones. Who knows, maybe we will pick one up.
I work on Thursday and then I will be off of work Friday - Tuesday. Christmas Day we are having tacos at Jeff's daughter's request. I'm hoping for a ham, too.
I'm alive and thriving despite being quiet. Life offline is challenging.
