Happy Tuesday my friends!
I'm very sleepy today and I don't really know why! I'm super happy to have won another contest on the Alive Burning Chat! A special thank you to all the hard work of the chat hosts and @flaxz. Their dedication to the platform and its contributing writers is admirable and verty appreciated! π
I worked from 7:45 - 4:30 (as usual). After work I helped Jeff wirh dinner (baked pork chops coated with corn flakes and orzo pasta with peas and onions).
I managed to read and curate several good posts in the Alive Tribe and I need to check on the Freewrite community.
I spent a little time on dbuzz and shared a microblog post featuring my rescue cat, Newt.
I cleaned up dishes and put away the left overs. I πΏ because tomorrow I have an appointment after work for a haircut before the church service.
Jeff left to pick up his son and go to the airport to get current on night landings in the plane. He has to do three take off and landings every three months, and three night landings and take offs per three months to stay current on his pilot's license.
Sunday we took a ride up to the airport so he could show me the new hobby plane.
It was a bit dark for pictures, but I wanted to document them. Jeff is restoring this plane. It was in a accident sometime last September. The plane experienced a ground loop upon landing and this damaged a wing and the hull.

The interior is in very good shape.
Jeff has reached out to several experts to assist in working on some of the elements of the plane's repair.
He does as much of the labor himself as possible, but some repairs require that they are completed by a certified airplane mechanic, and repairs are signed off on by the FAA.
This Cessna is a two seater, so it's lighter than our current four seater Cherokee Piper. It will get much better fuel efficiency, too.
