Walker might be the guy who discovered them or something special about this species.

Grasshoppers always eat..that's what the plague is about.

        I am glad these stay outside.
        I too, was wondering if the guy who named them was Walker.
        There are way too many to try to kill off, so I let them eat the plants and move on, the leaves always grow back.
