If we work in an office, for normal days, we will work for 5 days and 8 hours for each day. For the people who were working in an office, 5 days at work is a norm and this is widely use in all over the world and not only in our country.

But what if you have 3 days of rest day and the other 4 days is working days and your salary is also the same as you work for 5 days?

I'm pretty sure people would not believe in this question but this is possible. The only thing we do is we calculate the working days which is 40 hours per week. We spend 10 hours every day for four days and the rest of the day is rest day and it is still 40 hours per week. Note that the lunch break and dinner break is not included in this calculation. So, for a total of 12 hours per day that we spend in an office including the lunch and dinner break.

Since, we only work for four days, we can have a rest for the remaining three days or much better hangout with friends or even go on a tour with our family because we have longer days of free time.

I remember this kind of scenario when I was still an OJT in a certain company and the employees talked about working for four days straight for 12 hours and the rest of the days will be a rest day. After hearing that, I said to myself that it is a good and cool idea, only working for four days and we can do anything we want after four days.

Will there be benefits of working for four days?

I think there will be benefits for having four days of work, one is that we can focus more in the office with lots of projects that they tend to do and other stuffs like meetings.

Also, when traveling at home will not be traffic anymore because we will go home late at night and if we work in a normal days, there will be a heavy traffic after work just like in our country if a person is living and working in a crowded place, there will always be traffic after office hours.

Thoughts

Some people will say that they will stick on working for 5 days for 8 hours every day because that's the normal thing that we usually do. As for me, I prefer on working for four days with 12 hours every day of work including the breaks because I can save more time and I have more rest days than in five days.

We always love holidays and vacation because that's the only day that we will have a rest day at work and we were craving for that more rest days because we sometimes need to have to unwind thing and not to worry about work.

Having that kind of opportunity if I work in an office will be a great help for me so that I can have lots of bonding and family time but I don't know if this kind of scenario or situation exists like only 4 days of work.

I just have a question for you to fully understand and share my opinion do you truly work for the 10 hours straight and how will you rate your time management, if possibly can you share your working organogram for the day for better understanding ?.

Yes, most of the times, I work for 10hrs but I am a work from home and not working in an office. I also said in my blog that if ever that I could work in an office, it's better to have a four days of work than in 5 days.

Dapat ito sana ang work setup ngayon dahil nasa new normal na tayo.
