With today's generation that technology is growing faster as we imagine from a big chip of chunk of hard disk that has only a memory 2 MB (Megabyte) down to a size of a finger that has now 1 TB (Terabyte), we can now see the difference between then and now and it has now moving with a slowly paced of technology that we can't imagine like robots that we were only imagining that kind of things or time travels.
But what sparked for my love for technology?
My answer to this is simple, only games. It sparked during my high school years where the computers were as big as the television and at that time, I am fascinated by the technology for computers on what can it do. With a simple motion that really amazes me on how they walk or even run in the computer games.
Every time that I saw a computer game in a computer shop, I will directly go that screen and watch them play that kind of game because at that time, we don't have any computers and computers were very expensive and the only thing that I can do is go to the nearest computer shop and find someone who is playing games.
I was really amaze on how a character moves by using it's cursor or pointer and how it operates behind the scenes about the game itself and at that time, I want to know behind the game on how it is made but when I discovered that the game is made from a program. I was still amaze because from that coding from C, HTML, or even in Java, they can make that kind of game.
At first, I feel motivated because there is someone that I also knew online teaching me about things and stuffs about building and making games but after a couple of months, I went to study college and we didn't have any communication after that because my phone was not touch screen and my university school is far away from my house.
One of my motivation on why I graduated on my course, which is computer engineering, is to be build games for myself and other people to play because I like to have fun while making games but I didn't knew that it was really hard to build a program and there were lots of challenges that I face through my journey.
I finished taking up that course but I didn't pursue on the goal after I graduated, that is making games, because I thought that it was really easy to make games but it's really hard to make one but still, it ignited me up until today because there were new emerging games that rose up now than before and there were now lots of people who likes to program with their passion of coding and stuffs.
As of now, I didn't pursue but the spark that gives me whenever I see games in the computer shop or videos about games really amazes me with lots of interaction with real people and making memories with them.
Thoughts
I think computer is one of the game changer of technology that we have now because using computer people are now, the work done is now more easier than before and that's why the sparked of having our first computer gives me more motivation on pursuing one of my dreams.
Computers are not only for playing games but for other important stuffs like doing business, doing works, or even watching videos. If there were no computer, then our life will be more different that we have now.
