If you are interested in running a VSC node, you need a VPS (or a dedicated server) with a recommended 4 GB of RAM, 2 cores, and 50 GB storage, and that is worth roughly $10 per month on most VPS hosting providers. π€
Running a #Honeycomb node (DLUX, SPK, or DUAT) require less (about half) than that of VSC. π
Thanks a lot for the information! I appreciate it! That's so interesting that VSC's resource requirements are so much greater...hrmmmm... πππβ¨π€

You can rent a $10/month VPS on #Privex and follow the official steps on setting up a VSC node only if you !love to. π€
I suppose $120 per year is not bad, but me being me I'd want to be able to run it on my own hardware. I appreciate the info again, thank you! π π π β¨ π€

Take note that even a single node will cost more than 1 TB (or 1,000 GB) of network bandwidth per month. π€―π

Ugh. I do close to that just running my my Qortal node and doing daily Arch Linux updates....ππ ππ€£ πππβ¨π€
Looks like it's expensive in terms of network bandwidth (about 1 GB of network traffic per hour) just to run a Qortal node. π€―π
Have some !WINE with !LUV! π
Yes, that is quite true, though the bandwidth usage can be tweaked. It's even more challenging because I have to share the bandwidth with the whole communtity here (I live in an off-grid intentional community)!
Thanks so much agsin! πππβ¨π€
