That's a good barometer I'd say, and I think you'll feel the energy easily pretty much anywhere that you go in the Islands. Lower Puna is a whole different world, even in Hawai'i. π π π β¨ π€

In large part, it's because of the lava. Because this is one of the most active lava zones on the planet, very few corporations or governmental agencies are willing to spend lots of money on infrastructure that could be destroyed at any time, so the tentacles of the system are very few here, so people basically live the way they want. The lava protects this place, and as such, it's one of the freest places on earth. π π π β¨ π€
