I'm sure, and I so understand! I haven't been to an actual city in quite a while now...lol! I don't even know if I would still enjoy it! π π π β¨ π€

I can imagine after all these years :-D
Of course, there's a difference in cities as well, if you take what we call a big city like Antwerp, it hardly even compares to an average town in the States I guess :-)
What I love about many of our cities is the history you can see there. A few months ago we went to Trier, in Germany, and visited the Dom, which is like 2000yrs old. That is unimaginable. That's the city part I love :-)

Yes, indeedy, living so many years naked in the jungle changed me, that's for sure! Many US cities are entirely too big I'd say! Yes, that's one thing that I certainly understand about living in or visiting old cities with amazing history and the architecture to go with it! πππβ¨π€
That's !INDEED simply lovely in many European/Belgian cities! If you walk around in Bruges, it only takes just a very little bit of imagination to think of yourself as walking around in the middle ages. And many cities in Belgium are like that (though not in the same extend as Bruges). It's not like walking around in an open air mall, or a business park.
That sounds amazing indeed! I've so far not been to any really old city, which is why I appreciate Hivers sharing their photo adventures in such cities! Some of them are quite incredible! π π π β¨ π€

It is lovely !INDEED !! Many Belgian cities still have some parts like that, but Bruges is unique in that it has so many well conserved pieces together in its center.

It's wonderful that so much of the old structures were maintained, even the cobblestone streets! Buildings like that feel soooo different from any modern structure! πππβ¨π€
