Hi friends, I hope your Wednesday was wild and wonderful. We are getting a lot of rain these days, which makes for some spectacular skies at sunset.
It was a busy day getting things done. Going around town I made an effort to park the bike a bit farther from where I needed to go in order to get some steps in.
I'm a big fan of street art and was happy to see this new piece while walking down an ally.
It's always good to look up sometimes. I paused to enjoy the shade of this tree and noticed all these pigeons in the branches above me.
Despite getting some short walks in during the day, I was still only around 9k steps by evening. I thought I'd make the last 1k easily just doing house chores before bed... but fell asleep at 9,813 steps lol. Second time this happened in the last few days. Tomorrow I'm waking up early for a walk to ensure I hit 10,000.
Here are some of my other Hive Quest Highlights:
- I participated in the Alive Chat August 10, 2022 - Daily Prize Drawing- Today's Topic: Stake Your ALIVE Tokens - And Get A Stake Boost Tomorrow . I was also a winner in yesterday's drawing and was delegated 500 Alive tokens! I staked 20 more of my own Alive today. Goal of 1,000 Alive seems achievable.
- I reviewed my Splinterlands NFTs and rented out the ones I am not using. So far I'm earning about 52 DEC per day, not a lot, but better than the 0 DEC per day I got from not renting :).
- I've been doing some working on forging my Avatar for more power in Hashkings. I earned 532 BUDS in the daily raid. A new personal record.
- I broke my 1 day streak of surpassing 10,000 Actifit Activity, by only hitting 9,813 and falling asleep, again.
- I maintained regularity in daily posting and engagement.
- Today is my 34th #Actifit report and 24th consecutive day of participating in the #IAmAliveChallenge! I am happy to report I am #AliveAndThriving.
