You have created and awesome description of how you celebrated Deepawali.

In my house too it is my sister who does the rangoli and I am the one helping her.
Indeed it is all about cleaning the house and illuminating it with lights.
We too use oil diys as nothing replaces the tradition and it gives us so much joy to light them up.
Plus there are lots of things to eat at Diwali time.
Both sweets and namkeen
