The major problem Portugal had with Ronaldo is players that play to his strengths. He remains a major threat on the air and in the box. The wingers, midfielders and defenders just need to find the right time to make the pass/crosses.
Several times, he tried to make a run in between the defenders, Diaz couldn't put in that through ball like Rudiger does.
Several times, he was ready to make the lift, Mendes, Bernardo, Leao, and Cancelo couldn't cross a good ball.
