I have just finished up my full month with my last Inleo Premium Membership. As a matter of fact yesterday was the last day of the membership. I did renew it which you will see in the snapshot of my current membership. For those of you unfamiliar with the premium program it offers you certain perks that you don't receive with the free version. It is a paid service that costs 10 HBD a month or 100 HBD a year. In return you get some nice features like the ability to post longer threads and to even edit or delete them. In the snapshot you can see many of the bonuses you receive with premium, and I honestly don't fully take advantage of all of them.
Another perk that isn't mentioned is that they offer priority curation on posts that are created on Inleo. Does it guarantee a curation on each post you might ask? Absolutely not. It is based on quality and posts are reviewed manually. Time to get back to the math to calculate my summary for the entire last month of premium service. This doesn't count votes on threads, just on the long form posts. During my last month of Inleo Premium I received a total of six curation votes. When added up they come to a grand total of $56.86. Next I need to remove the 55% that goes back to Inleo for using their front end. That leaves me a total of $27.26, then subtracting the ten HBD initially invested it leaves me with a profit of $14.26. Still not enough for a wild weekend in Las Vegas, but I did come out with a profit on the investment.
Now that I have renewed the premium membership yet again the clock has reset and once again I can report back on my future experience over the next month. Do I recommend the premium experience? Yes I would have to say I do. Now that they have worked out most of the pesky old bugs things work pretty smoothly. The one really annoying bug that has yet to be fixed is YouTube videos. When you paste them in it tries to use their format on Inleo, but it doesn't work. So you have to manually change the link by deleting, cutting and pasting to get it to work. I sincerely hope that one is soon remedied because I participate in Three Tune Tuesday and Nineties Friday which both require extensive use of YouTube videos.
