Playing around with an accidental glitch sound in a vlog by @pixiepost - can I make something musical and/or interesting with it?
It may have been accidental, it may have been unexpected, it may sound like noise to some people - but I say NO - I'm going to take that noisy glitch and see what I can do with it!
Credit for the souce glitch sound of course goes to Pixie's excellent video :
"The Productivity Myth"
Definitely check that one out!
And hats off to @pixiepost for being super real in her videos and leaving the glitch in. I've made her a 50% beneficiary on this post as it couldn't have happened without her!
I'm already working on part 2, trying to make some other useful sounds/instruments from the same glitch so watch this space!
The glitch sound is also the inspiration (and sound source) for the new "glitch mode" in my live radio shows. If you are in the Twitch channel you can simply type !glitch to activate glitch mode!
EDIT: Part 2 is now available - read/watch on for a whole ensemble of instruments based on the "Pixie Glitch": https://peakd.com/hive-193816/@tdctunes/hbmpeojc
