Hoy es un día hermoso, porque celebro mi cumpleaños # 50 junto a mis amores y es algo que no cambiaría por nada.
Alcanzar un año más de vida significa que hemos recibido la gracia de disponer de 365 días más para escribir nuestra historia, aunque suene trillado así es y, si además tenemos la dicha de ver a nuestros hijos saludables, sonrientes y desbordantes de luz y de amor, no se me ocurre que mejor regalo podría recibir.
Por eso en este momento sólo puedo decir: ¡Gracias mi Dios!

Today is a beautiful day, because I celebrate my 50th birthday with my loves and it is something I wouldn't change for anything.
Reaching one more year of life means that we have received the grace of having 365 more days to write our story, although it sounds trite it is so, and if we also have the joy of seeing our children healthy, smiling and overflowing with light and love, I can't think of a better gift I could receive.
That is why at this moment I can only say: Thank you my God!
Desde que desperté mis amores me han llenado de atenciones y cariño, por sobre todas las cosas me siento amada y eso mantiene calientito mi corazón y me hace sentir que la vida tiene los colores de un arcoíris.
Al empezar el día mi esposo salió y compró desayuno para que tuviéramos un menú diferente y así consentirme. Fue un bonito gesto.
Hoy yo me había propuesto un tarea en especial, ir a la peluquería y cambiar mi look, aunque parezca algo tonto, quería consentirme de esa manera.
Les cuento que hice un cambio un poco radical y pudo ser peor. En las siguientes imágenes les muestro el antes y después. A mí me encanta hacer esas comparaciones.

Me apliqué un tinte rubio oscuro sobre el rojo shangai que tenía puesto y ese fue el resultado, un rojo matizado. Además opté por un corte a la mitad del largo que tenía.
Normalmente el rojo intenso no es un color de cabello tan aceptado, sin embargo yo me sentía cómoda con él y las personas en mi entorno me decían que me quedaba bien. Probablemente lo vuelva a usar, quiero ver cómo luce con mi nuevo corte de cabello, pero por ahora lo estoy disfrutando tal como está.

I applied a dark blonde dye over the shanghai red I was wearing and that was the result, a nuanced red. I also opted for a mid-length cut.
Normally deep red is not such an accepted hair color, however I felt comfortable with it and people around me told me it looked good on me. I'll probably wear it again, I want to see how it looks with my new haircut, but for now I'm enjoying it as is.
Les cuento que ha estado lloviendo durante todo el día, fue una odisea ir a la peluquería, de no ser porque era una meta que me había propuesto, no hubiera ido. Pero gracias a Dios, al final del día todo salió bien.
Recibí mensajes cargados de buenos deseos, de personas muy importantes para mí y, como en cada cumpleaños de la familia, me esperaba una hermosa torta en casa de mi suegra que ella y mi cuñado hacen con mucho amor.
En esta ocasión la mitad de la torta es de chocolate y la otra mitad de vainilla, para complacer a diferentes gustos. Además tenía mis iniciales, un grato detalle.

I received messages full of good wishes from people very important to me and, as in every family birthday, a beautiful cake was waiting for me at my mother-in-law's house, which she and my brother-in-law make with a lot of love.
This time half of the cake is chocolate and the other half vanilla, to please different tastes. It also had my initials on it, a nice touch.
Me siento feliz con lo que tengo y eso me hace recordar la frase que dice algo como: No es millonario quien más tiene, sino quien menos necesita.
Y eso no quiere decir que deba conformarme con lo que tengo, sin aspirar a nada más, sino que es genial apreciar lo que se tiene, mientras vamos en busca de las otras cosas que queremos, porque la felicidad no está en un destino, está en disfrutar cada parte del camino.
Realmente agradezco a Dios por este y cada día que me regala junto a mis seres amados.
