In the last few days I had to give up my presence here because I was busy.
There were final preparations for our theatre project and I had to focus on shooting the last cartridges. For this initiative we had a capacity limit of 60 seats, divided into two visiting shifts.
Until two days before we had a dozen subscribers, in the end we got to 44.
44 fearless and passionate who chose to spend a Sunday morning at the theatre. Yes, on a Sunday morning, some even at 9:30.
It is true that theatres are emptying, that fewer and fewer people go there, that support is needed. But there are realities that struggle, that insist, on finding new spaces, new times, new routes.
There was a serene atmosphere at the theatre, a few new people in addition to the usual friends who always follow and support us. It was beautiful and we can't wait to repeat in a month, when we take the show to a museum, built inside an old church.
New spaces, new times, new routes.
Negli ultimi giorni ho dovuto un po’ mollare la mia presenza qui perché ero impegnato.
C’erano gli ultimi preparativi per il nostro progetto a teatro e dovevo concentrarmi a sparare le ultime cartucce. Per questa iniziativa avevamo un limite di capienza di 60 posti, divisi su due turni di visita.
Fino a due giorni prima avevamo una dozzina di iscritti, alla fine siamo arrivati a 44.
44 impavidi e appassionati che hanno scelto di passare una domenica mattina a teatro. Si, una domenica mattina, alcuni addirittura alle 9:30.
È vero che i teatri si svuotano, che sempre meno gente ci va, che serve sostegno. Ma esistono realtà che lottano, che insistono, a trovare nuovi spazi, nuovi tempi, nuove rotte.
C’era un clima sereno a teatro, un’ po’ di persone nuove oltre ai soliti amici che sempre ci seguono e sostengono. È stato bellissimo e non vediamo l’ora di replicare fra un mesetto, quando porteremo lo spettacolo in un museo, costruito dentro una vecchia chiesa.
Nuovi spazi, nuovi tempi, nuove rotte.
