I have had some back problems for the past few months. I spent a period stuck in bed and just getting up caused me pain. I could not sit for more than fifteen minutes and all this made me think. I've been neglecting my fitness for the past four years. Before I went to the gym, I did crossfit, I ran. Then nothing more. Eventually my body came to pay my bill.
I then went to a physiotherapist, got treated and it helped me a lot. Talking to him, he explained to me that the best thing would be to do some movement, but constant every day. Initially he talks about gymnastics or the gym, but he made me think. Talking to him I understood that it is better to do little, but constantly than to do a lot on few occasions. From there I realized that besides gymnastics and the gym, @actifit could be a powerful ally.

An app that rewards you for the activity you do helps keep me motivated. Trying to do that little every day. Because I know that if I walk, not only am I doing my body good, but in the meantime I'm also earning something. Little, of course, but still better than nothing.
Actifit has allowed me to take 250,000 steps in the last month. There are not many, my life and my work are quite sedentary, but I think that without Actifit I would have done much less. I would not have made it to 100,000 steps.
In one month, I achieved the minimum required activity (5,000 steps) 27 days out of 31. And two of those because I was home sick. Without Actifit it would never have happened.
Earning is the secret of motivation. Therefore, the greater the earnings, the greater the motivation to be constant and to do more.
So I defined my three main goals:
1 - Reach 5,000 steps every day;
2 - Try to reach 10,000 steps as much as possible;
3 - Increase earnings from your business by optimizing Actifit reports.
So, in trying to pursue goal 3 I started looking for ways to improve my earnings to keep me motivated. So I discovered @flaxz and the Alive community.
Here I can share my daily reports, use them to participate in community initiatives and get some extra rewards.
What I didn't expect was to find a very beautiful, encouraging and kind community. A community that supports you, helps you and motivates you even with words.
Alive carries an important message: life is beautiful, it deserves to be lived, it deserves to be committed every day, because every day has meaning.
Since I started participating in Alive initiatives and I write something about the day in my reports, I realize how much the perception of my days has improved. I find beauty, positivity in my every day. And it's a beautiful thing, which helps a lot.
For this I am grateful to all of Alive, @flaxz, its founders, the team behind it, all the curators and everyone who participates, even just by leaving an upvote. Sometimes, even the smallest upvote counts and says a lot. It is an encouragement, a support in pursuing one's goals.
For this reason, Happy Birthday Alive and thank you for the positivity and support you give me every day!
