For every day we witness on mother earth, it comes with a special package for us...sometimes we smile till our ribs are about to break and sometimes it brings forth tears..
So also does every month has got something to offer.
For the month of March, it personally came with them all, each in it's own dosage, lol.
The month started off with my professional exam which began on March 5, 2024 running through till March 21, 2024.
It was weeks of seriousness always waking up to read pages of texts and series of revision in preparation for the exams at hand and a mixture of intermittent God Abeg, lol.
The religious activities also got their own dosage as it was the period of not just going to church but rather the period of charity, stations of the cross every Friday, fasting and alms giving.
I didn't fast though or let's just say I don't engage in the popular form of fasting which entailed not eating.
Finally, on March 22, 2024, the results were released and I passed, it was a result that came with mixed feelings because you would be happy seeing you passed but the happiness quickly fades away when you look down and see your friend failed...
Some use the term, "the joy is never complete and it's true."
Nevertheless, I felt it was long overdue I stepped out of school environment and get myself together again since I've been within those four walls since October 2023 without stepping out of there, hence, I gave myself a week break, hehehe.
Won't be wrong if I say this was when my month actually started,lol...
Within that week, a lot happened and it was all fun.
I reunited with my friends who stay around and we went to places our pockets could carry us and had fun together, discussed about how life has been treating them since I was the only student left because I went for a 6-year course whereas they went for a 4-year course and were done already.
Finally, it was March 31, 2024 which was the day for Easter.
Nothing special happened though as we just bought food, ate and then played PS4 FIFA game all day long and that was that for the Easter celebration.
Finally, before the Easter day ran out, I prepared for the Rural posting I was going for the next day and here I am still giving back to the community in my own little way, lol.
What hopes does it give you for the nearest future?
Every clock's tik...tok gets us closer to our dreams especially when we are on the right track and that's the same for me.
Having celebrated this Easter, it was a beautiful one for me and then it gives me the hope that things are gradually coming to an end; it gives me hope that it's almost time to drop the undergraduate title and pick the graduate one, hehehe.
As for the Easter celebration itself, it's a constant reminder of the price that was paid for my salvation and a constant appeal of remembrance to always lead a good life here on Earth.
