We had electricity yesterday

10 cm snow yesterday and many villages without power. But not us this time, thank God, not us. It was only last week that I was harassing my clothes because the power went out and I had to run the washing machine twice to keep them from smelling. So yesterday, when I saw a friend posting a picture of his fireplace and explaining how he had been without electricity for an hour and a half, I took a breather. We had electricity.
There was also chaos on the roads yesterday and I thank God I no longer have to travel for the holidays. I don't have to go to my hometown from the capital like most people do to survive (work and live in the capital to survive, then scurry like mice through the tunnels and broken highways to get to the houses of their parents if they can at all). Well, that's another and very long topic.
Do I survive when I no longer live in the capital? Hmm, that's debatable to say. But the important thing is that we had electricity yesterday. That's the most important thing. And I hope we have today as well.
