I must point out that despite the chaotic, I would even say feral nature of our neighbor friend, he is still a good and respectful kitty. As I told you before, he lacks good manners, probably because of the nature of his owners.
Think about it: think of the people around you who have pets. What is the nature of their pets? Are they nervous and aggressive, or are they meek and kind? Is this the nature of their owners too?
Is it possible for a pet to be completely different in character from its owners? Well, it's possible for human children to happen, but with pets it's unlikely.
But let's get back to our friend. He is rude and unmanageable, but kind and respectful at the same time. Because every time we leave the house, he comes to say hello. Every time we come home he comes again to meet us and say hello.
And that's how he differs from our three spoiled cats who never greet us when we come home. Even when we've been away for a few days and they're supposed to miss us (lol, cats don't feel that way, do they?) 😹
Of course, they show up when they see the neighbor trespassing in their yard. Then they are always present, otherwise they are generally absent.
That's why I still like this wild cat, he's still young and has time to learn good manners. But the character of our spoiled cats can no longer be changed.
