Cuteness and monstrosity

Today, I wonder how such a sweet kitty as the one who is always hanging on the netting of the windows of all the rooms of the house, insisting on watching me, attending and controlling all human household activities, could actually be just a bloodthirsty killer. A killer who ruthlessly preys on innocent victims. Not only that, he's playing with them while they're still alive.

And there is no difference between useful and useless animals, beautiful and not so much, flying or crawling creatures. Everything "falls under the knife", as they say, or in cat language: it goes into their paws.
Whether it will be eaten afterwards is of no importance.

Actually, I don't want to complain about this cute beast. He sometimes saves me from terrifying monsters. Sometimes it kills terribly useful animals. There is no reason in his actions. Sometimes he takes on the role of Professor Shisho, you remember, who reads encyclopedias all day and then catches terrifying animals just to save his human/me. Then he grabs something else because he's just bored and wants to play.

How can one be upset with this lifestyle. I have no right to that.

I think you should call him Fluffy instead. He eats well, from what I can tell :D

Oh, I do call him Fluffy too 😹, because he eats a lot. Then I'm happy when I see him running and jumping on the window sills, because after all this meal, he definitely needs gymnastics and sports. 😸

It is the way of cats! They might seem all cute and soft and full of purrs, but they are really just ruthless killing machines. 🤣

killing machines

Exactly! 😹 And therein lies perhaps the greatest mystery on the planet - why, since they are like that, we humans continue to be so drawn to them, to love them and care for them... to serve them in every way.
Maybe because the Cat God is one of the most powerful gods in the world of gods?🤔😸
