Sometimes we are not supposed to do something, but out of friendship or love, we tend to do things that ordinarily we wouldn't do in life.
Ada and Ifeoma were friends; they knew they had each other's back always, so one day Ada went out and didn't come back that day to their house. On reaching home, her mom waiting for her already questioned her and asked her about her whereabouts, knowing fully well that her parents and family knew Ada"s own and lied that she was in their house, and when it was late, she decided to sleep over. Her mom could not buy the story as she insisted that her friend Ada is not a person that wouldn't collect her phone to give her a phone call to know her whereabouts.
She gave her friend a phone call, and she spilled the truth that she wasn't with her. That alone really gave her mom a great disappointment, and she gave her a great beating.She was really disappointed in her HR friend and felt very bad. When she met her friend, she was really showing a great disappointment, but her friend made her laugh because she couldn't lie.
That's one mistake that people sometimes make in life. As much as we want to stand in for our friends, we should always make them know the right thing in which they are supposed to go and the right way of going about them. To have ones back and also causing the person harm is not a good thing, as once you start covering up in that way, the person can continue in the way knowing fully well that you would stand in.In as much as there is love, truth should always be the first in everything we are doing.
An uncomfortable act that might really have one effect that we know would cause one problem or the other should always be avoided by us all.
