Saludos a todos, ya vamos iniciando la segunda semana del mes de Enero de este año 2024, en el cual creo que muchas personas han depositado grandes expectativas. Espero que no nos vuelvan a recluir en nuestras casas, con algo similar a lo que ocurrió en el 2020, entiéndase, PANDEMIA. En todo caso, la idea es que vibremos alto, para resguardarnos del mal que pueda rondarnos y sentirnos con la mayor cantidad de bienestar posible, sólo así tendremos la capacidad de seguir adelante y ser felices. Y una de las cosas que nos llena de alegría es la música, y por eso hoy he vuelto para participar en la edición número 137 de la iniciativa Three Tune Tuesday, del amigo @ablaze, para compartir con ustedes tres canciones que me llenan de esperanza y alegría, es decir: CANCIONES PARA INICIAR EL AÑO 2024.

Afortunadamente tengo la capacidad de poder pensar, escribir y hacer otras tareas, mientras oigo música y vivo la música. Desde bebé la música estuvo a mi lado, y cuando ya era preadolescente, gracias a los radios y grabadores que me obsequiaban mis padres en cada cumpleaños, la música tenía que estar presente a la hora de estudiar, a la hora de hacer cualquier otro trabajo o tarea, y a la vez, la música debía armonizar con la energía que estaba experimentando en ese momento, así la música continuó siendo mi compañera fiel y leal desde siempre. Y obviamente, al comenzar un nuevo año, la música no puede faltar, porque me prepara mental, emocional y energéticamente, para viajar por estos doce meses del 2024, que espero tener la gran fortuna de poder vivir.

Si bien hay muchas canciones que me alegran mi alma y mi cuerpo, que me llenan de emociones positivas y esperanza, al día de hoy he traído tres que suelo escuchar con frecuencia, y que llevan de viaje a décadas atrás cuando yo tenía otra perspectiva de la vida, quizás más ingenua y más simple de la existencia y del mundo. Dicho esto, veamos mis canciones del #ttt de hoy.

Inicio mi trilogía de hoy, con una canción emblemática de una banda estadounidense, y es JOURNEY y su canción:"Don't Stop Believin'", y si bien, la letra de esta canción de inicios de los 80, no es para tirar cohetes, la melodía, la fuerza interpretativa de toda la banda, es magnífica, en especial la de su vocalista Steve Perry, quien dicho sea de paso, es uno de los artistas que más admiro, no sólo por su extraordinaria calidad vocal y musical, sino por la coherencia que a nivel personal ha demostrado por décadas. El estribillo de esta canción es atrapante, y nos invita a tener fe; pues tal como dice: No dejes de creer / Don't stop believin'; Aférrate a ese sentimiento / Hold on to that feelin'. Y podría decir que este sentimiento para mí, es la fé en mí misma y en mis capacidades, que no siempre está al 100%, pero que día a día trato de mantener. ¡Vamos a disfrutarla en un concierto en vivo, del año 1981!

Mi siguiente entrada, es la hermosa y estupenda canción interpretada por la banda de Huey Lewis & The News: “The Power Of Love”, la cual es el tema central de la super película “Volver al Futuro”. Las razones de por qué me gusta tanto esta canción son varias: Primero, es una canción PRECIOSA, tanto a nivel de melodía como de letra. Segundo, me recuerda esa película y su interesante planteamiento sobre los viajes temporales. Tercero, me recuerda a mi papá y a mi hermano, pues fue precisamente papá quien nos llevó al autocine de la ciudad en que vivía a ver esta película, y luego a comer helados y jugar videojuegos. Fue un momento feliz del año 85, imposible de olvidar. Aquí les dejo el video oficial, disfrútenlo y viajen en el tiempo.
