Coffee shops are created precisely to pamper your palate with the elixir of the gods, but without a doubt, my favourite place is in the comfort of my home, there is no time or date on the calendar that limits me to taste it and even more so when it is rainy days when my taste for a hot coffee is stoked.
I feel that I have everything I need at my fingertips to make every encounter with coffee and me something unforgettable. I place some music according to my personal interest or purpose at the moment while I prepare it, let its aroma wafts through the small spaces of my living room and kitchen make the moment a special one.
Once ready I start the tasting stage in its original preparation, the kitchen and then I just let it roll into my living room to cushion myself in the comfort of the furniture and between sip and sip and the melody of the music I get my moment of peace and personal introspection, it is my best strategy to organize my ideas and plan my activities for the week.
Since a couple of days ago I have also adopted a new methodology and that is to read a fraction per day of a book titled "The knight in rusty armour" and to make my reading more rewarding, I always prepare my portion of coffee and right after lunch while my children are asleep and the whole house is in absolute silence, only the book, my coffee and I meet to immerse ourselves in each page and remember this fresh reading.
I read this book many years ago when I was in my adolescence for a Spanish activity and I loved it, but now I have returned to read it again with the variant of having coffee as a companion, which is an excellent ally to reach the stage of self-knowledge and reflection, if you have not read this book I cordially invite you to do so without leaving behind a large portion of coffee, I love the silence for reading, without any distractions.
So my dear friends, when it comes to the best place to drink coffee, once again I ratify that in my home I find everything I need, the exact concentration, the amount of sugar required, the temperature according to the weather and the ambience of the space according to the occasion.
