An interesting photo contest where the theme is energy.
This was in one of our recent trip to Rameshwaram , TamilNadu. On the way we came across wind farm. With a lot of green pastures spread over the area, hundreds and thousands of wind turbines were installed. It was one of the beautiful sight I came aross.
The government of TamilNadu initiated this idea and the main purpose was to generate electricity. It was one of the most breath taking views.
Accidentally, we took a short cut and so were able to have a glance of this beautiful view. As the climate was favorable but a bit cloudy and we were in a hurry to reach our destination, we didn't halt anywhere. But as we need to capture these beautiful moment, we continued taking photos randomly from our moving vehicle.
To have a closer look, we tried driving closer. On driving closer we noticed how big the wind turbines were and another thing we noticed was, the sound in few wind turbines, was heavy. In few areas where the wind moved fast, the speed of the spinning of windmill was also at fast pace. And the areas where there was mild air, the wind mills were in a standstill position.
This is just a short experience of my long journey. When nature combats, a fast moving object can even slow down at the same pace. This is what I learnt from my journey.
