Some people say that all the security claims of an app are unconvincing if the app itself is not 100% open-source. 🤔 Even a published security audit of an app is only for its version that was audited, not for versions after or before it. 🤓

At least for open-source apps, an audit (from a reputable company) helps increase the confidence of the users and potential users of an already open-source app. 🤓😏

It would be really hard (but not impossible) for an open-source project to take off (become popular with lots of users) without support from companies or corporations. 🤯
That's where users who love FOSS projects should come in and contribute where they are able and willing to. 🤗🤓
Absolutely, and yet those are the only projects that I really support, aside from Linux itself, which is already being taken over from the inside by corporations. I want nothing to do with them.
Personally, I would only contribute to projects which are 100% community-based. No corporate nonsense for me! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
