I'm sure he'll find one that works well for him. I use SwiftKeys, which sadly is now owned by Microsoft. It still serves my purposes well for the moment! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

We can say that an open-source version of an app that is already as good as the proprietary (closed-source) version should be preferred, as it helps the further development of the app by its contributors and its users in general. 🤓😎

Indeed, that seems self-evident to me. It's also useful to help make sure that closed-source apps are not being used in pernicious ways. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

I would have suggested that you try finding open-source apps that are at least almost as good as any closed-source app that you are using and try to support it in a certain way (donate, contribute to the code, send feedback, or share to others), but I realized that it might take more of your time which you would use in your real-life community. 🤔😅
