That's been suggested to me before, and I've thought about it quite a lot. If I were to do it well, it would take a little planning, and time to dedicate to it, but I will probably do just that at some point soon. It's funny that you mention Tangled, as I only recently started exploring that one. It has some very interesting infrastructure that is being built. Unfortunately, the tangled.com website saves emails and passwords for logins (which isn't very decentralized), and one day I got logged out and could not log back in, or change my password, so I'm basically locked out of it at the moment. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

Let's say you reserve 2 to 3 hours of your time preparing a great post for each of those platforms. 😏 You were the first one to mention Tangled on our conversation here. 😅
Maybe while the Tangled infrastructure is being built, it just requires a centralized server at the moment to handle accounts, and it encountered some errors on the way. 😏

Yes, it would take about that long for each post. The challenge is that I have what I do on Hive every day pretty well scheduled out, so it's not easy to fit new things, especially those that require more time, in somewhere. I'll let it percolate for a bit. Haha...you're right, I did mention it when I talked about promoting my Hive posts. I forgot...lol. Well, in any case, I seem to be out of it for a while at least!
That is possible. They have a Tangled browser that is a node, and gives full access to the Tangled ecosystem. Unfortunately I couldn't install their Linux version in Arch Linux on my laptop. I'll keep eye on Tangled in any case. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

Maybe you can set a day of every month where you would prepare and publish a long article on Hive about your favorites (such as sovereignty-driven platforms). 🤔🤓
I see that Ubuntu is (one of the) most popular Linux distros, so Tangled may have an app that works well (or even flawlessly) there. 😏

That's a good idea. I should do that too for my garden posts, which were always my highest earners. I'll give this more thought. Thanks for the suggestion!
Yes, they have two files for Linux, the straight source code to manually build (and deal with dependencies), and a .DEB file, which is for Debian, Ubuntu, and their iterations. Usually I can install .DEB files pretty easily in Arch Linux using a cool little app called debtap, which converts them into a native Arch format. Unfortunately, I couldn't install it for their app because debtap couldn't translate the Ubuntu dependencies to their Arch versions. It happens sometimes. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

Looks like you would have to dabble with Tangled's source code if you want to install it on your computer running Arch Linux. 🤔 Compiling from source is safer, but more difficult. 🤓
!LUV
Indeed, and while I do build software from source often, it is via Arch's PKGBUILD files, which handle all the dependencies. It's easier just to wait until I can find a way to easily install it. Of course, I still have to find a way to log back into my account...lol! 😁🙏💚✨🤙

If you won't lose anything (significant), you may want to create a new account on the Tangled website while trying to regain access to your current account. 🤔
