Sunny day, and we'll see you again in the Splinterlands challenge. Understanding how each combat rule works is critical. Because taking advantage of the battle rules allows us to easily win the battle. Even ordinary cards can outperform rare cards.

EXPLOSIVE WEAPONRY
Every unit gains the Blast Ability. An ability that causes damage to monsters surrounding the intended target.
If you get this battle rule, you should pay attention to the following procedures:
- Because this rule applies to all monsters, choose monsters with strong attack power. The greater the attack power, the greater the explosive force delivered to the surrounding target.
- Monsters with opportunity abilities will target opposing monsters with low health points and attack them. If possible, use monsters with this ability to attack in the center of the opponent's formation.
- Speed, shields, and health points are all factors that can affect the outcome of the fight. Therefore, it must be taken into consideration. Choose a monster with a shield and a large number of health points. It reduces the damage caused by explosives.
- Use monsters with multiple attack abilities or perform multiple attacks per round.
- Use monsters with martyr abilities to win the battle. Of course, by placing a martyr monster around your best monster. The explosive power will harm the Martyr monster but provide additional statistics if it is knocked out.
RULES AND TACTICS
The rules for this fight are Up Close & Personal and Explosive Weaponry. which only allows melee-type monsters and limits mana points to 30. The only elements available are fire, water, death, and dragons.
Because I only deploy melee monsters, I chose the water element because it includes melee monsters with a summoner that grants Reachability. This gives me an advantage because the monster can attack from the second position.
So, here's the line of monsters I sent to the battlefield.
I chose DUMACKE ORC because its ability reduces the opponent's attack power. In addition, with the Retaliate ability to attack the opponent back. I sent COASTAL SENTRY with a large number of health points and a double attack ability. This monster will be protected from explosions with a two-points shield. VENATOR KINJO , which can withstand blast attacks, is ranked third. TORRENT FIEND serves as a complement to the formation. I hope that by using URAEUS as a battering ram at the back of the enemy monster formation and a BANDIT PELACOR with its flying ability and speed, some of the enemy monster attacks will be deflected.
The first round begins with the enemy summoning a water elemental. The enemy formations are almost identical to mine, except the DUMACKE ORC. Of course, the opposing summoner's shield ability will provide defense against my monster attacks. However, in this round, the BANDIT LACOR at the back of my formation was repeatedly attacked. I also attack from two directions: front and back. I managed to defeat the enemy's TORRENT FIEND.
In the second round, the BANDIT PELACOR in my formation had to be eliminated, but I also defeated the enemy's DIEMONSHARK and COASTAL SENTRY. It doesn't stop there; DUMACKE ORC's abilities extend to eliminating VENATOR KINJO and PELACOR BANDIT. Trample's ability causes DUMACKE ORC to continue attacking the opponent's URAEUS. And I can win this round.
FINAL THOUGHTS
The battle depicted above is an example of using the EXPLOSIVE WEAPONRY ruleset. Because there is an additional rule stating that only melee monsters can be used, I have an advantage because DUMACKE ORC is extremely vulnerable to magic attacks. Because it has a low health score. And, with the melee Mayhem rules, the reachability is extremely useful. Because the monster in second place can attack the opponent.
COASTAL SENTRY's Double Attack in the second position is extremely useful. Aside from its high attack power, it also has a high explosive effect, which can deplete the health points of the opponent's monster.
Sneak attacks are also common in the melee mayhem rules. As a result, it is also necessary to focus on strengthening the rear guard. You can place a monster with the dodge or thorn abilities. You should also consider using monsters with abilities that can reduce explosive attacks, such as VENATOR KINJO.
And with all of that, I can win this fight.
