I have had unorganized, vague and nonsensical thoughts coming to my mind and I refer these thoughts to "Scattered Thoughts" now do not confuse this terminology with "Brain Fog" as they should both be considered as different states of the human mind.
The biggest problem I had to face with scattered thoughts is that I cannot remember these and it becomes not only pretty difficult to think about them but also spending time on them to process them further into crystal clear ideas. Now when I trying fighting my scattered thoughts I came up testing these activities but to be honest with you none of them worked.
- Getting my mind to do some physical activities like walking or anything.
- Getting my mind in to making random conversations with other people.
- Putting my mind into doing some mental activities like reading or solving a puzzle.
The above steps seem very practical and are all hence doable but they did not help me clearing out my scattered thoughts however after doing some research the following activities helped me by clarifying my scattered thoughts which are the following:
- Counting numbers which can be related to anything but the numbers should have an ending this can be counting how many times I breathed and also counting simply from 1 to 10 number which really helped me do repetitive task which is counting this helped my scattered thoughts become more focused and in cohesion.
- Fixed spot gazing which is staring at a single spot really helped me take control of my scattered thoughts because once again this activity involves me into doing one task at a time and doing it properly which really helped me declutter my thoughts process.
- Journaling really helps me clear out all of my confused thoughts because all I have to do is write the thoughts that are not making any sense in real time and then when I do add some thoughts which are sensible in my journal I simply use my ball point pen to cross the ones that are incoherent and nonsensical which automatically gives my mind a clear vision and direction in the process giving my mind a boost to think more vigilantly and my alertness levels are also increased to new heights.
- Doing one task at one time really helps me control my thoughts process and helps me focus on achieving my goal which automatically removes all the distracted thoughts I might be having in the process.
- Relevant communication is my last go to remedy for improving my confused thoughts into having a clear programmed mindset. However it is very important to note that for relevant communication to take full effect the person or group with which you are interacting with should focus on one topic of discussion. This really helps declutter and remove all nonsensical thoughts from the brain and my mind starts to focus on one idea which can lead to a lot of clarification and helps in to moving into the right direction automatically.
By going through the above methods I found that my scattered thoughts went away and I started to think with a clear mindset which meant that now I can focus on my future goals and put all my energies into achieving them.
