🐦INTRODUCTION:
No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon (Matthew 6:24).

🪒🔊MAIN DISCOURSE. The spirit being you worship is the one you have handed over your soul to.
If there's anything the devil longs to get from you, it's your soul. He can give you anything (except peace of mind) just to have it.
Our text for today reveals that the devil tried to convince Jesus to surrender His soul to him by worshipping him in exchange for fame, wealth, greatness and power. But Jesus drove the devil away because He knew who he was.
The truth is, Jesus was praying for the power to accomplish His ministry on earth, and the devil came to show Him a shortcut to what he was looking for.
Many believers who have been waiting and believing God for a turn around in their lives have been deceived by the devil and have exchanged their soul for material possessions.
Who is in possession of your soul?
The worst mistake you can ever make is to hand over your soul to the devil, because he'll destroy it. The safety of your soul is in your allegiance to Jesus Christ.
Your soul is priceless. Don't sell it at any price.
