I was just scrolling twitter like always and I found a tweet from one of my favorite Bitcoin supporters, James Lavish. He always shows facts about the US government, and how their perpetual deficits are moving the country to a place where perpetual high inflation is inevitable. He's one of the first persons I saw talking about the death spiral.
Tuomas Malinen, answered James tweet with this chart. In this chart you can see the interest payments of the U.S. federal government. What can you notice from this chart?
The interest of the debt exploded to the upside, to the point in which they are currently paying more than 1 trillion of interest from their debt. Isn't that crazy?
Well, the other countries of the world are not in a better position. There could be a couple of developed countries with controlled debt vs GPD (Gross Domestic Product). But almost all of the other countries in the world are even in a worse position. Why?
Because they also have unsustainable levels of debt, but they are not in the position of power of the US. The US dollar is the world reserve currency, and they have the ability to print their way out. Until... until the world realises and they can't.
I would like the world to wake up and break the global reserve status for the US dollar. The time will eventually come.
