What's the most attractive or beautiful place in your city?
Singapore has many attractive and beautiful places, and there is something for everyone, whether you are into skyscrapers, beaches, or even nature reserves.
As for me, one of the more impressive places would be Jewel Changi Airport, which was relatively new and just opened in 2019.
This was a mega project and going by the name, it's situated just at the airport, which means visitors to Singapore can head over to explore this place when they touch down at the airport. There's almost everything here! With the endless list of eateries, there are restaurants, cafes, fast food joints, visitors are spoilt for food options. There's also a lot of shopping places, which is carefully planned for visitors which need to do some last minute shopping or get souvenirs before they return to their home countries. There are also activities such as massage spas for tired visitors to get a body or foot massage while they wait for their flights, as well sky parks where there are mazes and gardens for visitors to sight see. And there's a hotel for visitors who need a place to rest when they transit for the flights! The entire place is pretty huge and I actually do get tired walking around whenever I visit this place.
I could go on and on for what to do and what to eat over at Jewel Changi Airport, but the Jewel Rain Vortex is definitely the main attraction over here! Standing at 40 metres tall, I think it's one of the world's tallest and largest indoor waterfall!
These photos were taken at on separate occasions, one during the day, and one during the night. They were taken at different vantage points as well, if you see the rail tracks. And the bonus is managing to capture the instance when the airport rails go through the complex.
What amazes me is how the architecture is constructed and the sight of water cascading down from such a height is just so fascinating. And it demonstrates how Singapore as a nation has come so far since independence 59 years old.
And if you are there, I do recommend popping by Birds Of Paradise for some awesome ice cream/gelato! It's slightly pricey but it's worth it! (In case you are wondering, this is not a sponsored shoutout. Lol.)
That's all I have for this weekend! Thanks for reading! :)
