Life as a youth started for me at the age of fifteen when I gained admission into the University and began to live without my parents. I moved to Bariga which was not far from my school. On getting there, life was different from what it used to be when I was with my parents.
I was kinda influenced in some negative ways which resulted me into drinking alcohol and today, I think I’m a guru even though the rate at which I take alcohol has drastically reduced.
I had street brothers then in Bariga so I always move around with them and we roll together. That was when I began to take alcohol, skuchi and so much more. For my brothers, the smoke weed, take alcohol and every hard drug you can ever imagine.
This resulted me into being a drunkard and sometimes I get drunk.
Something crazy I did when I was drunk
One day, we all were sitting at the front of a shop just like we have always gathered everyday and that kind of gathering needs our mouths to shake.

One of my brothers went to get skuchi which is even crazier than alcohol.
He brought it and we all began to drink. I was drinking it like water until I was about to fall from the chair and my friend held me. The realized I was drunk so one of them followed me to the house and put me on my bed.
I woke up late at night and went outside. We hardly sleep early over there. Sometime, our sleeping time is usually around 3:00 am. I met them drinking again and I collected a sachet of fire from one of them. Fire is another gin but isn’t common like Chelsea.
After I took a sachet of fire, I took Chelsea gin too. I didn’t even wait for the drinks to settle inside me. I collected Origin bitters from one of them too and drank it. Later, I took Action bitters and that was how the movie started. I was getting tired of the whole thing so I just went inside to sleep.
Immediately after laying in my bed, I began to vomit. My roommate rushed outside to call our big brothers. She felt I was going to die, lol. They carried me to the bathroom because I lived in a house where we used to have a general bathroom then. That was how they started to pour water on my head and took my bath.
They put me to bed and I woke up the next evening. They all said they came to check on me but I didn’t even remember when and how. I woke up feeling irritated and was smelling bad because of what I vomited.
That day was when I realized that it isn’t good to mix alcohol especially when you’re planning to get drunk. Since then, I never mixed alcohol again and I never got drunk like that anymore.
I don’t know why I didn’t feel embarrassed, lol but after a few years, I sat thinking about it and I didn’t like what I did.
